The AM-SB-13 pelvic stabilisation belt is a medical device providing quick and simple stabilisation of the entire pelvic girdle. It consists of a wide, anatomically shaped pelvic belt and a strong circumferential strap, ending with two Velcro fasteners. This solution allows quick and secure stabilisation of the pelvis, even in difficult hospital conditions.
The pelvic belt is covered with hook and loop fabric, so the belt provides a wide range of circumferential adjustment. It will be suitable for people with small as well as large hip sizes.
The belt is made of the antibacterial and easy to disinfect medical material PureMed™. This material has a number of approvals and can be disinfected with all kinds of chemicals, which is why the AM-SB-13 pelvic stabilisation belt can be successfully used in health care facilities such as hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and seniors' homes.
The AM-SB-13 pelvic belt effectively immobilises the pelvis in cases of suspected pelvic fracture. Through its strong stabilising effect it also reduces pain in cases of chronic inflammation or arthrosis of the iliac crest or sacrum.
The sterile pelvic stabilisation belt AM-SB-13 has no metal components and is therefore ideal as an external pelvic stabiliser for diagnostic imaging and examinations using CT, MRI or X-rays.
